FLEX INCANA tile adhesive

Product description

APPLICATION:

The FLEX adhesive is designed for effective bonding of all types of wall and floor ceramic tiles, decorative stone, glaze, terracotta, clinker, stoneware, mosaic, terrazzo and cement tiles, natural stone tiles resistant to discoloration (after prior checking the resistance to discoloration ). We use the adhesive mortar for any typical and demanding substrate.

RECOMMENDED SUBSTRATES:

concrete, cement, cement-lime, gypsum plasters, gypsum boards, cement and anhydrite screeds (also with underfloor heating), old ceramic tile coverings, etc. The adhesive is also suitable for raw surfaces made of bricks, cellular concrete , hollow bricks and other such ceramic and sand-lime materials. The adhesive has perfect adhesion to all waterproofing systems and INCANA tiles. It is recommended for use on the surfaces of balconies, terraces, facades, bathrooms, industrial and household kitchens, corridors in passageways, etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

The surface should be stable, even, load-bearing, dry, free of dust, dirt, lime, oil, grease, wax, and residues of oil and emulsion paints. Old chalking and dusty substrates as well as substrates with high water absorption should be primed with INCANA absorbent primer.

PREPARING THE MORTAR:

The mortar is prepared by pouring the entire content of the bag (15 kg) into the precisely measured amount (3.3-3.6 liters) of clean and cool water and mixing with a low-speed mixer with a mortar mixer until a homogeneous consistency without lumps is obtained . The mortar is ready to use after approx. 5 minutes and remixing. The prepared mortar should be used up within 4 hours. If it thickens, do not add water, but mix again.

HOW TO USE:

FLEX glue is used in the thin-layer method of sticking tiles. A thin layer of glue should be applied to the substrate with the smooth side of the steel trowel, then a thicker layer of glue should be applied and the whole thing should be “combed” with the notched edge of the trowel, keeping the angle of inclination 45-60 to the substrate. The size of the trowel teeth should be adjusted to the size of the tiles and the unevenness of the substrate. Apply the glue with a notched trowel to the entire gluing surface of the tile, and then press the tile against the wall so that the glue fills the voids. In the case of tiles that require grouting, apply the tile after the glue has been spread.
as close to the previous one and then press it down and move it to create a joint space of the appropriate width. The tiles should not be soaked before gluing. The time for adjusting the position of the tile is approx. 30 minutes from the moment it is pressed. Before the mortar is fully hardened, its residues should be removed from the joints, a
Clean the dirt on the tiles with a sponge and water. The tiles can be grouted after approx. 12 hours on the walls, and after 24 hours on floors.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT:

The mortar should be transported and stored in dry conditions, on pallets and in original, undamaged packages. The product stored in this way has a shelf life of 12 months. Protect against moisture.
